Collab is not working

Today(6/22) we are encountering an error with the collab system in that we can't push. Unity gives this error in the console. [Collab] NotificationManager::PubnubError: Pubnub service returned invalid response false We looked it up and found this thread . I have encountered this problem last night and thought it was resolved based on how the Pubnub company addressed it. However, the problem has occurred this morning and hasn't been resolved yet. I have filed a complaint along with many others. The problem is resolved today(6/23)

Description's

Torque (r x F)- Torque is a measure of a force that causes an object to rotate about an axis. Similar to linear kinematics where a force is used to make an object acceleration, torque provides a vector force that causes an object to obtain angular acceleration. Another word for torque is a moment or moment force. Using the equation Ï„=r*F*sinθ you can determine torque, where the units are in Newton-meters (Nm). Force-A force is a push or pull upon an object resulting from the object's interaction with another object. Having both magnitude and direction, a force on a object with mass causes this object to change velocity and to accelerate. In order to get the most amount of torque you must have a force pushing or pulling perpendicular to the moment arm. If you push or pull at any other angle than 90° then you will not be able to get the maximum amount of torque. If you push or pull parallel to the moment arm then torque will be equal to zero.  Radius-The radius from the axis of rotat...

Fix for Camera going black

Problem      The camera wasn't showing what it saw. It turned on, with no errors. The FOV was 60. People involved Nick and Kyle Solution      The code compiled and showed no problem with the creation of the camera. The pointers were working because the cube was able to be manipulated in front of the camera, but wasn't showing up.           What we had to do was delete the camera and add another one.

Today we went over the topics that Nick had planned for us. We used tinkercad and made an object and exported it during zoom as a demo so we knew how to import objects we made from tinkercad. Layering multiple materials on top of each other and backing up the project in case it the progress is damaged somehow. After zoom, I made 3 more objects in tinkercad to practice using it and importing/exporting them into unity. Made a folder inside of the unity project folder in files for me to save the tinkercad objects to.

Logging Format V3.0

Now that we have privileges that enable cross author blogging, Format for logging will differ in the future. Nick proposal 1: we each have a blog titled: Day# <username>'s blog. The blog will contain content in these categories:      Start of day log in with reason as "Start of day", a things to do list(Optional), and timestamp.     personal  events through the day such as logins and logouts, completed accomplishments         End of day log with reason as"End of day", and timestamp Nick Proposal 2:  Each day, we have 2 blogs.       One blog that we each edit for the morning with the start reason as "Start of day", a things to do list(Optional), and timestamp. and also records personal events through the day such as logins and logouts, completed accomplishments      The other blog will contain the end of the day with the reason as"End of day", individual  timestamps, and completed accompl...

Area Vectors Fixed

Problem: Mouse didn't register Solution:  There are 2 systems to how input is handled. The old input handling, the old way, through the input manager, and the new way, through the input System Package. These changes can be made by going to the file tab of Unity. Then going to "Build Settings" at the bottom. Then click on "Player Settings to the bottom right of the build settings. Then click on the "Other Settings" tab. Scroll down and change the "Active input" to both.  I am going to go over this tomorrow.

7 hours on Installed and use the cube for the first time Watched videos on materials and textures, I plan on trying to figure out albedo more so that I can make better looking object materials. How to import albedo's or create them. Played with one the albedo's that came with the download that came from the asset store. Downloaded a free object from the asset store so that I could see what it was like to download one of them. Worked on making objects in Tinkercad and importing them into unity, but I could not figure it out so I will work figuring that out during the weekend.

Blogger Tutorial(Format to use, Labels)

Format When using Blogger, I prefer using the new format. This is available from the main admin post screen. The button to switch to the new format is orange and is located in the bottom right-hand side of the screen. The new format offers more functionality for quick actions directly on a post you made.     Labels are great for finding a specific blog the search bar in the top left of the main admin screen. to find a blog using the search bar type "label:<label name>" with the label name spelled exactly the name of the label. An alternative way to sort blogs based on labels is to click on the label attached to the blog. Labels are used for filtering specific blog posts. To create a label, make a blog and type the name of the label to the right in the post settings. There should be an orange line showing where to type. To use a label, make sure it is checked off. You can use other labels by scrolling down the list in the post settings. Here is a list of all the cu...

Questions about hours

Hey Nick, Seeing as you have done this in the past, how do you best schedule your time working on this research? I know it says a minimum of 7 hours per weekday or 35 hours a week, but if you work on a Saturday or Sunday does it subtract from a workday? Also do our zoom calls and our core hours count as work hours?
